2. Hvar – A Perfect Island for Couples We are continuing this list of the best places to visit in Croatia for couples with one of the most famous islands in Croatia. Hvar Town is one of the most famous destinations for couples and the whole island will offer you a fantastic experience. We do a lot of work in Istria, but not as much as in Dubrovnik, Hvar, and Split. Still, Istria is one of our favorite regions in Croatia and Rovinj is located on the western coastal part of this peninsula.

It’s also the first sea-based national park in Croatia. The whole island of Mljet is beautiful and worth exploring and, apart from the national park visit, we suggest you visit the Odysseus Cave on Mljet and hike to the Montokuc peak, a place with the best panoramic views of the Mljet National Park.
