Work with a local wedding planner : They’ll help secure different permits, coordinate vendors, and manage logistics. Organizing a wedding without the planner is harder then you might think, especially when it comes to the larger weddings.
Book early : Venues book quickly for years in advance so it’s best to book it as soon as possible and this is usually done at least one year in advance if the wedding is organized in a most popular period which is from May to October.
Consider the weather : Summer is sunny but also very hot. Spring and fall are the best periods for wedding in Dubrovnik. A lot of weddings were hosted in summer months, but in the last years more and more couples pick off-season periods.
Plan guest accommodation in advance, especially if they’ll stay anywhere near the Old Town. Similar to Dubrovnik wedding venues, it’s best to book the accommodation as soon as possible too.
Factor in travel logistics : Dubrovnik is well-connected by flights, but allow some extra time for transfers and vendor coordination. Let the wedding planner coordinate everything and just relax.
