In this article, we bring you our idea for 7 day Croatia honeymoon itinerary.
Croatia is also a great country for honeymoon travels. It has all that you need for an unforgettable time with your partner – stunning nature, beautiful coastline, romantic and picturesque towns, and amazing sunsets. This honeymoon journey will start in Dubrovnik , and we’ll explore some of the most romantic places in Croatia in 7 days.

Day 1: Arrival in Dubrovnik – The most Romantic Destination in Croatia
You’re going to start your honeymoon in Dubrovnik , one of the most romantic destinations in the world. This itinerary is flexible, so you can also start from Zagreb, the ending point of our honeymoon in Croatia. Your starting point depends on your travel preferences and airplane connections. Either way, we’re going to either start or end with Dubrovnik.
Explore the Old Town together, walk through its narrow cobblestone streets, enjoy historic architecture, and spend time in vibrant cafes.
Walk the city walls at sunset for breathtaking views over the Adriatic Sea.
Have dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants in Dubrovnik.
Visit the Lokrum Island.

The first day was spent exploring the Old Town, and now it’s time to take a day trip to the Elaphiti Islands , a quiet and peaceful archipelago near Dubrovnik. Elaphiti is a peaceful oasis in which you can take a rest from everyone and everything while swimming in the crystal clear sea or relaxing on the beach.
Visit Koločep , Lopud , and Šipan , the three most famous islands of this archipelago.

Day 3: Hvar – Welcome to The Most Famous Island in Croatia
After Dubrovnik and its area, it’s time to move on to Hvar Island , the most famous island in Croatia. There are several ways to get from Dubrovnik to Hvar, and the best one for you depends on your preferences and travel style. You can either use a fast catamaran from Dubrovnik to Hvar, drive to Split or Drvenik and then take a car ferry , or drive to Split and take the passenger ferry. You can also use a private boat transfer from Dubrovnik to Hvar .
We love Hvar very much and we travel a lot to this island each year. Day 5: Split – Historic Charm and Seaside Walks
From Hvar, we’re going to go to Split, the second-largest city in Croatia and another popular destination . Split is a great hub for exploring this part of Croatia, and we’re going to spend one day exploring some of its most famous places. When it comes to traveling from Hvar to Split , you have 2 most common options – a catamaran from Hvar Town or a car ferry from Stari Grad port.
Walk along the Riva Promenade , the central part of Split’s lifestyle.
Visit Diocletian’s Palace and get lost in the maze of atmospheric streets.
Visit the Sustipan Park or climb the Marjan Hill for some great panoramic views.
Drink a coffee on Riva and feel the vibe of this Mediterranean city.

Day 6: Plitvice Lakes National Park – Natural Wonder of Croatia
On the sixth day of this Croatia honeymoon itinerary, we’re heading north and visiting Plitvice Lakes, the most famous national park in Croatia. Walk the wooden pathways and explore the lakes and waterfalls of Plitvice Lakes.
Capture some great photos together.
Rent a small wooden boat on the Kozjak Lake and enjoy exploring or have a picnic in it.

Day 7: Zagreb – Feel The Charm of Croatia’s Capital
You’ll finish your honeymoon in Zagreb , the capital of Croatia. We have spent 10 years of our lives in Zagreb and fell in love with this city. It’s not as touristy a place as some other from this list, but if you explore it a bit, you’ll see that Zagreb is as romantic as any other destination in Croatia. It definitely has its unique charm, especially its Upper Town.
Walk through the Upper Town (Gornji Grad) , our favorite part of Zagreb.
Visit spots like St. Mark’s Church and Dolac Market .
Enjoy a dinner at one of Zagreb’s many fine restaurants.
Visit the Tkalčićeva Street, la ong street full of restaurants and cafes. This is the most vibrant street in Zagreb.
