Bura wind is characteristic for the winter period in Croatia and it’s the strongest wind in Croatia, particularly strong in the northern part of the Croatian coast. On the other hand, Sirocco wind (Jugo) can also be strong and usually means high waves and rough conditions in the sea. Sailing in winter in Croatia is not for everybody.
